In the small village of Covanera (Spain) there is an amazing underwater pasage: Pozo Azul.

With a 700 meters long first sump and more than 3.5 Kilometers long second sump, Pozo Azul is one of the biggest underwater pasages of Europe.

Now a group of British, Dutch and Spanish cave divers have decided to continue extending the line. Using advanced breathing apparatus - rebreathers -, underwater vehicles and other innovative equipment, they are determined to go further than anyone... go beyond the limits.

Filmed during 2009 summer explorations, Beyond the Limits show us some of the more active cave divers of Europe working together to extend the line further and further inside this big cave.

Long penetrations (more than 5 Km in 11ºC water) with in habitat decompression, big and fast scooters, modified rebreathers and other equipment are used by the explorers to go to the end of the line.

Totally narrated by the protagonists, this film lets us know a bit more about cave divers, their equipment, ideas and friendly relations.

Push divers Jason Mallinson, Rick Stanton, John Volanthen and René Houben supported by a big international team make it possible to do one of the longest cave dives in the world.
